My first ever Writing.com Poem about missing out.
Time Goes By.

As I watch the time go by
And see people living a lie
Just like me waiting for someone
To make them smile, no matter where from

I pass the railway as I travel to school
Wondering if I will find love, or just stay a fool
I notice her standing, waiting for her bus, I expect
My eyes won't move, I wonder if she will suspect

Her long brown hair, her warming smile
I want to stop my bus and stay a while
But we just continue and I fill up with sadness
The thought of never speaking to her, this is madness

Weeks go by, she still stands there
While I just watch, this isn't fair
She chats to this good looking guy as I miss out
Why don't I get out instead of living without

Months later she no longer stands
I couldn't even get to shake hands
She's gone now, the woman of my dreams
But that was it, a dream; my face is full of streams
