This one is about watching a crush from afar, unable to do anything about your feelings.
Amber red glows as the flame
licks the tip of your cigarette.
A lock of hair falls, unnoticed
by your ever turning brain.
You sit there and write.
You sit there and sip your coffee,
oblivious to my hovering eyes,
oblivious to your own beauty.
A beauty that flows from your eyes
and into your smile.
Something that rarely sees the light.
You sit there working
Whether on a hobby or a job is never known.
A wall hides you.
A wall built by the scars in you eyes,
and the scars on your face.
Such pain you felt,
more than you ever deserved.
More than anyone ever deserved
