A poem...about too many feelings.
I wish I could put into words the way I feel,
But I can’t make this dream seem real.
All I know is you,
But I don’t know you at all.
These feelings pull me away,
Each thought bringing a new feeling,
Each feeling adding to my confusion,
The confusion boiling within me until the vapor clears
And there you are, as beautiful as the first time I saw you.
You are as clear to me as the sun is bright.
I still can’t believe that it’s me here with you.
I can’t believe I’m still talking to you.
It’s been hours, but it feels like minutes.
Whenever I’m with you, time seems to stand still,
But no matter how much I’m with you, it’s not enough.
That’s how I know I love you,
That I’m going to spend forever with you.
This answer brings everything to a halt.
I stand here, frozen in this moment, holding you.
