Okay, this poem is about a summer crush. How adorable, right?

so i guess i walked along unoticed. l
ooked at and blinded by the diamonds glittering the sky.
lesson learned, wings returned, cant wait until i can fly.
my shoes brushed along the path, weary from misuse.
id draw a pretty picture of this scenery for you.
if only i had a delicate hand to smooth out my point of view.
i would show you what beauty is. i would show you what fun is.
i would show you what life is.
not that you need my guidence, but put both of us together,
and, you get the idea.
i was in love with a poet once, but they could only speak to me
of how things could get better, and not by actually doing them.
in this case, actions speak louder than words.
this is only a wake up call.
good morning, my only.
look down at me through the wicker window, and wave back this time.
my only, good morning.
im looking for a response, and words wont say a thing.
kiss my lips gently, and wake me up.
someday youll say,
"good morning, my only."
and our summer will be fine.
