Its about feeling cheated out of life.
i sit here miserable.
did you know im sensitive, and the smallest things hurt the most?

i like when you lie.

i like it so much ill do anything to take the joy away.
i saw the horses dancing in the microwave and the babys playing with matches again.

i let them go.

why spoil their fun?
burn this world away. burn and let it fade.
hey, ill smear the ashes on your cheek, and its better than a slap in the face.

excuses, excuses, lies, and im boiling.

the matches are all gone. the kid cries. i cry.
how ironic the watchwoman says!
what were you watching? reruns of the golden girls?
im here to tell the truth.

excuses, excuses, lies, and im transparent.

a face stares into mine, and you can see right through to the

excuses, excuses, lies. they eat me alive.

im not a comic, but you laugh at every word.
and i laugh at you, because now im invisible.
and youre not.
