The title is translated to The girl of the woods
I'm the girl of the woods,
Alone I stand surrounded by beauty evermore.
I am a lonely elf who sees the time go slowly by.
I have eternity to seek what I will,
But everyone and everything else fades away,
What can one do with this circumstance?
When one is immortal and with no loving chance?
I cannot love for my love can't be trusted.
I'm a lonely elf who wants to love.
Loved I did once and now do still
But I am to find it is unrequited.
Perhaps in future I may love another
And the love shall be returned.
Till then I have all eternity to seek
One who is like myself.
I look not at the past but look to the future,
To a day where happiness shall be my companion,
To a day that I walk beside the one i love.
I am the girl of the wood,
A lonely elf who seeks the love
Of one she loved in past and present.
