I am scarred

A scar on my finger
A run in with glass

Scars on my hands
For the passion of a machine

A scar on my wrist
A drunken mistake with a knife

Scars on my eyes
For everything I have seen

A scar on my soul
A child abandoned

Scars on my heart
For relationships lost

A scar on my life
A home left behind

Scars on the one I love
For everything I can not be

I am scarred
