this poem is about my little girl who is just growing to fast for me
Her little flowing dresses,
replaced by mud-covered shirts.
Her formula-filled bottles,
replaced by meals and desserts.

Her random coos and babbles,
replaced by her funny words.
Her love for Winnie-the-Pooh,
replaced by her love of birds.

Her rattles and stuffed teddies,
replaced by dolls and play-dohs.
Her not so ticklish body,
replaced by her ticklish toes.

Her days of crawling forward,
replaced by her running shoes.
Her soft beautiful skin,
replaced by dirt and a bruise.

Where did my little girl go?
What is a mother to do?
But start getting ready for
her turning terrible two!
