The show is ending... and so is my life...
The Show’s Ending

I don’t know who I’m mad at
I guess I’m mad at everything
Living should be wonderful
But nothing is what it seems

If there’s a reason to keep living
Then show it to me right now
Because the curtains are being drawn
Coming close to my last bow

There are no flowers being thrown at my feet
Nor and audience applauding my part
I stand alone on the stage
Listening to my own dying heart

A dagger sits in my hands
Ready to puncture soft, bloody flesh
The ending was too good to be true
So I’m ending it myself

My hands finally steady
As I cry away my last minutes of life
The dagger is pushed inside me
And the stage lights, at last, go out.
