This poem is about drifting off into dreams to escape the pains of reality
I'm so far away,
In a place so perfect and serene.
I'm so far away,
That all this feels like a dream.
I don't want to go back,
Not now,
Not ever,
Because my eyes have now seen,
The wonders of Forever.
I won't turn back,
Don't make me,
Don't try,
Because I feel safe here,
Here, I never cry.
I don't want to see the truth,
Not right now,
Not later,
Because the truth is so painful,
It makes my voice waver.
I don't want to leave,
Not this early,
Nor this soon.
Because I always feel happy here,
All my dreams and hopes take bloom.
I'm so far away,
In a place so flawless and prime.
I'm so far away,
That I've lost sense of time.
I don't want to go,
This feeling,
This delight,
Has to sustain.
Because I don't want to go back,
To a place where I have to suffer through pain.
I'm so far away,
In a place so perfect and serene,
That I've forgotten pain and reality,
Because I am lost in a dream.
