To know love is to know safety and protection. To be loved is a blessing.
In your arms is where I belong, and of this, I’m very sure.
In your arms, I feel a love that’s innocent and pure.
When we lie together, our bodies wrapped up as if we’re one,
Whispering and touching, until, through the window creeps the sun,
Another day I have you here, lying next to me.
I know there’s no place on this Earth that I would rather be,
Because you see, this is the safest place I’ve ever been.
Here with you, lying in the arms of my very dearest friend.
This is where I’m happy and where I feel I’m wanted,
And I let go of all the painful things that have my heart so haunted.
I feel like I should pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming,
That you’re really here beside me and the sun is really beaming
I’m blessed to have you in my life and I’m mesmerized by your charms
The most wonderful place I’ve ever been is right here in your arms.
