A poem of passion and its power.
Passion

Pull me from darkness,
out into the warmth and freedom of your arms.
I am not myself at times,
so sordid, stolen, used and lost.

Take me to that place we share,
far from this emptiness, this longing.
Your arms are bliss
and my reprieve from all-encompassing
emptiness.

Touch my soul with trembling hands.
Caress my being with whispery kisses
and let me know you.
I cannot bear the emptiness
that drains upon my soul.

Kiss my lips-
breathe life into this empty shell.
Warm my cold limbs with hot hands;
my dark soul with a glimmer of light.
