WHY?

ANSWER ME
Why can’t I see straight?
My eyes are wide open
Why can’t I think right?
My mind is clear
Why can’t I be happy?
And not cause slight
I always thought I fought the good fight
But now I guess I lost
Never meaning any harm
My tears are now the cost
Feeling empty and lost
WHY!
Dam these feelings they are killing
Me inside
I once ran but found no place
To hide
All I can do is cry and ask
WHY!
Time will tell…I won’t continue
