This poem is very descriptive and easy to enjoy.
Eclipse

In the shadows of the gloom,
There's a warm radiance.
A beam of light
Glistens and sparkles.
An eclipse sits high in the sky,
A new fragrance in the time.
But a flame of dejection,
Brands the night.

The silence of gentle lies,
Cascade with musky rain.
Ignored but present,
The facade is just another
Story to be forgotten.
Twisted and uneasy,
The path must be followed.
Though the light will diminish,
Soon another day will begin.

But in the shadows of the night,
A figure of unimaginable spite
Drags itself through the scent of forgotten lies.
A cold, damp opening
Engulfs the shadow and it's breath.
It runs and runs
Before falling into its self.

A fight for realization
Is all that it needs,
But the rain trips it,
And leaves it wounded and scarred.
Scared and bewildered,
It searches for truth.
With its head in a noose,
It pulls it tight.

It looks to the dark skies,
For just a single answer.
With nothing returned,
It leaps and falls
To strangle itself.
The pain is rough,
And the night's been long.
It's lost and bound,
but decides to fight.

The eclipse is finished,
The noose is set...
But it claws and claws,
To loosen the ends.
It falls to the ground in a heap,
Just to be soaked
In the scent of mild truth.
The battle had ended,
But the lies were still of the past.
