tried something new, combining a song with a poem
And there's total warm envelopping bliss;
that first hit of niccotine.
Feels like your first kiss at the age of fourteen.
before you found that love is a hoax,
a cruel brutal joke.
And yet still the memory of that joy never dies;
and it's useless to fight.
Live for the hope that one day
you'll wake up and found it's returned.

And yet still you remember being burned.
She broke your heart at the age of fifteen.
And from the first it was heaven on earth;
and you lived for the moments more vivid than the suns daily birth.
The green of her eyes and everything is falling apart.

Six years later its easy to regret the calls;
but that brief burst of light, that you can never forget.
For sixteen months you thought you had died,
the love was too good, there was no way you could be alive.

And then the dream ended, you were clawed brutally awake,
she's long gone now but those strings in your heart are still being played.
Her hand's slender fingers still pluck tragic melodies
that echo mournfully in your head.

And yet time moves endlessly on.
Highschool has gone
and college has come.
A little older, certainly no wiser,
you still bleed a little for her.

For her, the moment in life you first felt love.
