past, longing, regret, love, loveless, exlove, ex
These songs take me back to places in time
too many tears, those years were fragile as glass.
Sly grins creeping accross
a pale, pained face.
Those days, they were fast days,
furious and frightening life was moving too fast
getting high like I was dodging lightning;
each moment spent flying felt lighter than gravity.
But soon wearied wings
grown old and grey
fail to lift your weight away.
You die my friend,
you die.
