DECEMBER MOON

Mystic in its spendor is
the light of the December moon
Interrupting our sleep and dreams
with the night winds haunting tune.

A silvery beam of light descends
from Heaven up above -
Filling the room with comfort
Of His great abiding love.

There is no other time of year
when the magic seems so clear,
our hearts desire - peace on earth,
seems oh, so very near.
