A Christmas Tree
Windows lit with cheer
A fireplace with flames glowing
Lord, for this I pray

Christmas presents piled high
Little voices singing Yule Tide songs
Snow flakes bright and glittering
Lord, for this I pray

Early Christmas morning comes
My children jumping on our bed
Throughout the house
Giggles and laughter can be heard
Lord for this I pray

My wife snuggled in my arms
Her scent so sweet
A kiss tender and warm
I will be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
Lord, for this I pray
