Bried bit of nonsensical drabble I wrote at four in the morning
You seem to fear the light of day
For the cravings of the lost
In the darkest of the moonlight
Where fighting is your cost
You’re careless in your words
You’re stupid in your lies
You’re wandering again
Out in the purple tides
You’re fearful of the dawn
You’re regretful for the sun
You’re shaded in the past
And everything’s gone wrong
However did you see
Past the break of day
Is it something new?
To you?
Or was it something you ignored, repent
Let them know that you are spent
And let your body fall again
To absolve yourself of sin
Into the purple tides
