Listening to the wind
As it topples
And tries to blow my house down
How many times have I toppled?
Trying to destroy myself?
How did I learn that I wasn’t enough
And that I didn’t deserve happiness?
How long have I been searching for the fix?
Reading from the past
Seeing all the patterns
I wonder if I will ever change
Ever heal
Ever break my own cyclic karma
I know more now, but the roots are still the same
Life is change, change is life
Change starts from within
