A memory in poem format.
Ethereal

Everything was ethereal
the misty morning air
you appeared in just the way
I imagined you would there.

Trees the green of emeralds
a sky the grey of tears,
I set aside my hollow heart
let you allay my fears.

One moment words fell away
their meaning lost in time.
For such a span I held to you
and dreamt that you were mine.

The sky she cried her greying tears;
the trees danced in the air.
I lost my thoughts against your heart
the warmth that we both shared.

As moments do we came apart
and went our separate ways.
Now I must hold you in my heart
on all such misty days.
