A poem about a child's dream of snow.
First Snow

The leaves fall,
The winds blow
As we all sit here waiting for the snow.

The beautiful white
Has always been my friend.
I soon hope I get to see it again.

Wait, I think I saw a snowflake!
I'm so amazed...
Finally, it's what I've been waiting for all of these days!

I'm so excited!
I'm going to go outside and play,
And stay out there for the rest of this long day.
