Nothing would come out of the pen
The Day the Ink Got Stuck

Why won’t the words flow?
My mind has ideas…
Ink not letting go…
Let the story out please!

Jumbled words of melancholy,
Or happy rainbow spotted puppies?
Do other muses have monopoly?
Of all truthful actualities?

Cramps of hand and cramps of mind,
Smoking visions drift through smog,
Pristine myths I seek to find,
Float away with the fog.

Write! Write! Let me write!
Make my thoughts fresh anew,
Bring the tale into my sight,
To weave a simple yarn for you.
