Poem of death
The Bell Tolls

As I lie in the puddle
Of my life escaped
In crimson river’s flow
From broken vows
Merciful darkness embraces me
Its touch…
Tender and sweet
A lover longed for
These eyes blind
In final rest of weary soul
Laid down in a bed of white linen
Stained red
With this lover’s demise
“All’s well”
The bell tolls
And nothing is as it should be
