ghostly memories
Ethereal Remembrances


Places and times
Misty and blurred
Are evoked by his words

The ghosts of his words
Out of time’s past
Haunt the halls of my memory

Phantom-like images
Of promised oblivion
Through countless deaths

Echo into gray nothingness
Close upon my heels
Like a faithful dog

They follow
Through fire and stone
They live immortal
