IT DOESN'T MATTER

It doesn't matter what kind of car
I drive to work in everyday -
It doesn't matter that my house
has turned a funny shade of gray.

I know it needs some fixing,
both the house and that old car;
but there are more important things
for me to think about, by far!

If I can see my children smile
and hear their sunny laughter,
That's something that I hold dear
and will last - forever after.

They are only little once, and
soon they grow and are gone;
but the memories made will be
enough to keep me going on.
