Underneath the ocean swells you'll find life's miracles.
Underneath the ocean's gentle swells,
Beneath the cascading, crashing surf,
There is water of a crystal blue,
Filled with life's overlooked miracles.

Coral is the sea's garden in bloom,
Beautiful and frail like a new rose,
Yet sharp and jagged as nature's thorns;
An aquatic Garden of Eden.

Seashells are treasures for sandy shores,
Spiral and colorful mobile homes,
Rented by crabs, yet sold to the tide,
Adorning beachgoer's sand castles.

Fish are the ocean's brilliant scholars,
Living in schools among the strict reefs.
Studying handbooks for survival,
Outwitting lethal survival tests.

Sea turtles are calm ocean giants,
Gentle underwater cooing doves,
Passive flippers glide through warm waters,
Emitting peace when Earth lacks accord.

Sea otters are the tide pool's children,
Amused by prickly sea urchins,
Floating among forests of jade kelp,
Dreaming of serene waves cast to shore.

Dolphins are genuine playful pals,
Committing worthy and heroic deeds,
Smooth charcoal floaties for all in need,
True best friends among the reef's shadows.

Underneath the ocean's gentle swells,
Beneath the cascading, crashing surf,
There is water of a crystal blue,
Filled with life's overlooked miracles.
