A young maiden and her unicorn friend reunite.
As Friends

In a deep, dark wood,
A young maiden dons her hood.

Not far away is the owl’s screech,
As he flies over a nearby starlit beach.

In the mountain lies the griffin,
Sound asleep, oblivious to all within.

In deep burrows below the ground,
A fire do the elves tell stories around.

As the young maiden comes to a clearing,
Her approach quiet and endearing.

There stands a unicorn, tall and regal,
With a mane flowing like the wings of an eagle.

The maiden joins the unicorn’s side,
His tail like foam from an incoming tide.

They walk down a path, out of sight
And as friends they went, out into the night.
