How one reads the words; perceptions brought forth: Surrender is a choice-nothing more.
i stand here before You
naked, but not merely unclothed.
i have stripped away all wants and desires
save those You want and desire.
i have bared my mind and soul
giving You total freedom to travel at will:
there is no question i will not answer,
there is no path You may not follow.

i kneel here before You
placing my trust in the palm of Your mind,
knowing You will treasure this gift
as You tie my hands and bind my mind with its silken ribbons
or exclaim in delight as You discover new depths:
Yours alone to unwrap, Yours alone to enjoy.
i gift You with all that i am
knowing i am less than i will become in Your eyes.

i lie here before You; i look up at, to, You.
You give me that one final moment, bathed in eternity,
to be utterly, completely, absolutely sure
that this is what I want:
to cross that invisible line, for me to become i
in Your eyes, by Your command, with Your words
becoming my world, my life, my meaning.
i nod and thereby accept my new name: none.
