written on a day my husbands and my depression threatened to ruin a happy event.

Today he stands before the crowd both embarrased and yet proud.
He has graduated high school and his parents want to cheer, yet the crowd is so subdued it would seem to be to loud!
His mothers tears are hard to hide she's feeling so much pain
Her pride and joy that he endured is fighting against the rain.
She should be nought but happy and her son see nought but her joy, yet...
his father in the grips of despair are hard to hide from her boy!
The Beauty of today is marred and rage against the Beast, too often it has found it's mark and made life feel its' least.
Why does Beauty win so few and far between and Beast can raise its' ugly head, turn gentle men to mean?
For this day belongs not to Beast but for the Beauty in her boy,who has fought the Beast and beaten it and once again brought her joy!
