Emotional inner feelings of a teenage girl.
I'm not your slave
You can't control me
You think you see
But you don't know me
You're merely using me
To get your way
You have never looked at me
And seen all my pain

Friends of convenience
Are nearly the same
Only there when they need me
Just playing stupid games
They act like they care
Like they know how I feel
If that were the case
The friendship would be real

No one sees me
No one knows the emptiness inside
That sometimes haunts me
That makes me want to die
But I'm weary of death
It's another's escape
I'd rather just bleed
With such scars are made

But in these scars
And numbness I feel
I see I'm not alone
Some friends were real
I am not unwanted
Or forgotten with dreams
But listen to my advice
Not all are as they seem
