Inspired by my son this may give you food for thought.
WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUAL

She stood at the front of the class.
Brown she was, suggests some sort of minority,
doesn't matter which. She could have been yellow,
orange or purple. It didn't matter.
What mattered is,
She wasn't white.

So she stood at the front of the class.
Bible studies books in hand,
sharing the good word.

She stood at the front of the class.
A boarding school class,
thirteen year old
good little catholic brown boys.

She needed to share the good word.
So she stood at the front of the class.

God is love, she continued.
And in Jesus Christ's eyes,
we are all created equal.
As she stood in front of the class.

He sat in the back of the class.
Thirteen he was.
Brown and confused.

She stood in the front of the class.
She shared the good word,
to all the little brown boys
who needed to know that
'In Jesus Christ's eyes,
we are all created equal'.

He stood in the back of the class.
No longer confused,
and he cried.....

Excuse me miss...

But why are you telling us this?
It's not us little brown boys who think
we're not all created equal.

How about you go and tell,
A class full of good little white boys.

It may be news for them.

Then she sat in the front of the class.
