Instead of crying for what once was, I find myself smiling at was has been.
“Full”

I am standing on a threshold
Looking beyond that which has fallen behind
I see each memory as a feeling
Without a form that lived this with me
That shaped it in color, gave it its flavor
Then sighed and knew
When the moment was over.

It is so hard to let go
To know when that moment has come
When reason fails to convince
And the passionate heart sees
That it was not eternity
It is hard to understand tears of happiness
To move on.

I was a lucky one
All I have ever dreamed I have lived
Through love, their love
And my love as I love them still
I am thankful and I search no more
I have discovered the meaning
I had sought.

It is when you open your heart
To see no wish nor dream inside
But it does not hurt
There are no regrets
And you realize
You have had it all
There is no more.
