An ode to the fruitlessness of war, graphic and emotional.
"In Order Of Possessions"
Destiny calls the powers dead fall rows and fortified lands
Putrid death rank bodies lying falling to the bloodiest hands
Stranger fields come roam and laughter, swords appraise life
Daggers scream to wasted forms as more blood fills the knife
Killing treads of tasteless vilety spread out as if “Thy Kingdom Come”
For evil ways have bitter stays since that garden where we’re from
Clinging to the dastard feats is longing for that wilted end
Sing our songs strangers, foes, and become our deadly friends.

Lifting threads of soldiers bodies faces torn and jagged lay
Clotting parts of distant skies while our heroes black fly away
With withered shadows reaping the hollows one strategy is lost
As Earth upon this tomorrowed day has embraced its holocaust
Homes sweet homes are fallen fists in our thoughts beware
Judgment stands and lifts its fists to the horizons that spark aware
Of the coming, calling, deeds and seeds, an ending of our rights
Fires brow shreds the day and true blackness here alights.

Hailing fire spiral clouds and locust move to our damnation
For here we all call the war and thrive within its nation
Life shall go on empty souls as mountains churn for future lore
Dragging tales and legends forth that give us the name of war
Evening by and morning blue hell is midnight that grasps inane
In every thought is an echo, a summons for our perpetual pain
Laughing to the rivers red who shall calm the chill
When the end has told us fair and we refuse to still?
