Healing the wounds of divorce.
A box full of memories of a life that I once lived,
Memories both good and bad,
Memories both happy and sad.
Memories are all that is left,
Some memories I would rather forget,
But I can't so I won't,
Because these memories once had a home.
A home where love once lived no longer exists,
For love was replaced by pain,
And pain was replaced by hate,
So as the wounds start to heal these memories will be easier to accept,
And that hate will be gone forever,
But the pain we will never forget!
