They are both fleeting. Let them fly. Don’t hold on to them.
BALLOONS AND MOMENTS: a sonnet

The days and events are like gas balloons
That go up once never to return back;
Their memories may return like typhoons
And bring back those moments that now we lack.

When we release the balloons in the sky,
We let them go off without further thought.
Why don’t the same principle we apply
And let old memories bother us not?

It’s better to let bygones be bygones
And not ponder too much on moments past.
Remember that no one in the world moans
For those who can’t their mental burden cast.

My friend, do not hold on to old moments.
Freedom in life such a habit prevents.
