A poem written for Taboo words
I thought I’d write a story
Yet be aware of words taboo.
Transplantation? or is that gory?
So the rules I’ll try to stick to.

What words can I write about this body part?
Essential it’s to life.
Some words I cannot mention
Or I’ll find myself in strife.

Some other clues I’ll give to you.
It beats for many days
From birth to death your life ensues
And continues to amaze.

So this thing, it’s so incredible,
Inspiring us to song and verse.
And to every health professional
A miracle, from birth to hearse

I’ve tried to give an image
Without the words forbidden.
Do you know of what speak
Of? The truth of which I’ve hidden?
