A divine experience
With closed eyes, we see
as crystal clear as they cannot see with open eyes

Such is the secret of breaking out of the dark basements
We see with blinded corporal eyes
As vivid as a dream in infancy

Above all, here stands a moon;
immersed amidst the clouds whose edges are searing
Above all, here stands the moon
glittering and glowy whose light
as we climb the path;
opens the knots of clouds from our way

For the first time, I saw the worldly dry moon
Imitating the moon from beyond
who is soaked in delight and bliss

For the first time,
The sun and the moon shining as one
Searing the edges of clouds;
to caste light on the loner’s path

On the pinnacle of pines
Here we stand
opening the path yonder and beyonder

Hoping you see through the bent shoulder someday
to see what a blue jay sees in the sunrise
