Flowers should be beautiful where they grow.



Don't give me flowers,


A beautiful bouquet
Flowers bright and gay
In all colours and hues
Rose petals are bruised
In a vase they stand
Flowers removed from land
Naught you think of me
Cutting pollen from the bee
Nothing to nurture or grow
Flowers removed from life's flow
With dead things, me you shower
Don't - give me cut flowers
