Cow Shadows march along the shoulder
Cow Shadows

Cow shadows march along the shoulder,
cress-cross the interstate
slowing traffic
and causing chaos.

Cow shadows pause
at off ramps
looking for green pastures
destroyed by modern civilization
and climate change.
