I'm a fan of haiku, and that's why I wanted to consider reading and reviewing this inspiring poem for you. Well, I thought the content of your piece is quite interesting and clear to me. You did a good job in portraying the moon here. Nice job!

*Star* FLOW AND RHYTHM:
I read your poem out loud, and I found that it flow reads well from the start to the end. Of course, I noticed a rhyme in the first and second line (Plight &light.) The syllable count for the first, second and third lines is 5,8,5. I might be wrong, but this is what I figured it out in reading yours. In the second line the word "ne'er" (never) is two syllables count in my opinion.

*Star* SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION:
I carefully search for any grammatical errors here but nothing I detect. You did good in this area. Well done!

*Star* SUGGESTION(S):
If you meant to write this haiku in a 5,8,5 syllables, then it's fine, but if you mean to write it in a 5,7,5, I suggest you to consider changing the word "never" to other similar words that have only 1 syllable count. I thought there are many out there in the dictionary. Actually, I thought haiku poetry doesn't need to rhyme and doesn't require a capital letter and a period/full-stop. This is what I know about haiku poetry--just something to think about.

Perhaps, this is my reaction to your poem, so it might different from what you had in mind when you composed it. All of all, this is a good haiku poem that picturing the moon, which I enjoy reading it. Write on!

I agree that we are all creatures in our environment. In physical geography terms, we our species. Anyway, I like this poll because it makes me to think of the better weather for me to write. Of course, to me I think I prefer to write when the weather is normal. Meaning, the sky is blue, and sunshine not so bright with the birds singing around the air. What can you call that kind of weather? LOL. This is a great poll for me which I like it very much. Write on!

This is an interesting poem that, to me, tells a story of a war. This poem reminds me of Brave heart when I came to read the man sharping his sword. Now, I feel I want to watch Brave heart, the movie, once more. Though I like how you wrote this poem with nice rhyming scheme. It makes your poem flow reads well from the beginning to the end. I read this free verse poetry several times and found that the message it holds are so strong and can be a food of knowledge, especially to the non believers who were trying to ignore the name Jesus. You know, this message here reminds me to go back and read the bible to explore more of the Savior's never-ending love. I like the piece very much, Bob!

In reading this, I found that it flow reads well from the beginning to the end. I might be wrong, but this is me.

*Star* FAVORITE LINE(S):
To let you know, I liked every lines here, but the lines in the stanzas that show what Jesus does when He was here would be my most favorite. They really remind me of Him with things He does that nobody can.

*Star* GRAMMAR AND SPELLING:
As you know, English is my secondary language, so I might be blind in pointing out errors on this field--I mean grammar. Though this part seems perfect to me.

*Star* SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENT:
I have no suggestion for you since your poem is good. The only thing I need to tell you is that you better keep that piece at your port for the others to read it. Who knows if yours could be helpful to those who seek Him for the new start. Just my humble thought.

A very well penned poetry that could change the life of the non believer. This contest is the best in my opinion. I haven't seen one like this before. Of course, your contest is no match here on WDC in my opinion. The banner is very inspiring, and I think it really fits the theme of your contest Paradise Cove Writing Challenge. The colors, fonts and emotions you used throughout your page were all great. Sherri, this is a nice caring poem dedicated to your mom. I think I hear your voice clearly here because you used powerful words. I know that your mom is so special to you since she is your closest friend and caretaker. Now, that she's not around, you always have a place for her in your heart because you had an everlasting love for her. I tell that just after reading this poem dedicated to her. This is a nice poem that dedicated to your lovely mother. I know you honor and love her, and I tell that just after reading this touching piece meant to her. Also, your loveliness and respectfulness was fully shown in this piece.

I read your piece out loud several times, trying to figure out how it flows but can tell you that it flow reads very well from the beginning to the end. Words are played in a rhythm there. Bravo!

I have lot of favorites here but the first, second and third stanzas are my best that sound great to my ears. It's so true that she saw many changes in this life from the fountain pen to the computer - and more technology has moved us along

Is your humble acceptance of God."

No wonder God loves her because of that. *Smile* God mostly love those who respect Him with all their heart and soul. I wish I could be like her.

This forum looks great to me with creative and inspiring banners, clear fonts, colors and emotions. You did a good job in creating this forum page for us. Though the information are easy to read and easier to follow. I like the way you rewards your reviewers with a bunch of gift points and other surprises like MB, Awardicon, Personalize Sig and many more that I believe they could put a smile on the face of your reviewers. Undoubtedly, your generous rewards encourage your members to review on and on because they know that your offer for their effort in reviewing others is waiting ahead of them in which they can own them if they could complete the weekly reviews before the deadline. On the other hand, their reviewing skills could be better by the fact that Simply Positive Forum challenges them to review 6 pieces from any members weekly. This is a great challenge, and I like it; that's why I try to review for SP with an intention that my participation for the group will help improve my reviewing skills in the future. I read your poem several times, trying to figure out the idea you're trying to share with your audience here, but I can tell that the message this piece holds is a bit clear to me. I think I agree with you that life can be painful, sometimes. That is how life meant to be. You did a good job in expressing your belief here. This is a good start for a newbie like you. However, you might consider adding some poetic devices to the content of your piece so that it could be memorable to your readers. As I know, there are more than 10 poetic devices expert poet familiar with and mostly used them, but my favorite is a metaphor. A metaphor is a figure of speech in which an expression is used to refer to something that it does not literally denote in order to suggest a similarity. Here are some metaphors related to life: Life is a game, a dream, a journey or even a mystery. These are just few examples, but you can create your own that could match your imagination. However, there are more poetic devices you could use. You can google it anytime. Most site offer them freely.
