| March 3, 2022, 6:15pm Well... PayPal have decided to cancel my account. They won't give me a reason why, they are ghosting my attempts at communication and apparently they refused to work with the Australian government's Financial Services Ombudsman (who I have contacted regarding this). What this means is that I have had to turn down 2 contracts because they want to pay only by PayPal, and one company I am dealing with is struggling to pay me. So, wonderful news there. On the positive, I have been asked to give a workshop on how to motivate writers who have become disenfranchised due to COVID, Australia having a crappy government, and now World War 3 imminent. I have some things I know - make writing part of the daily normal with a set time and place to write every day, some generic writing prompts to get people thinking, and goal-setting. And that brings me to the point of this blog entry. I am not looking for writing prompts - I have more than enough of them - but things that can help people actually get back into writing after feeling like they have lost their mojo. So, please, if you have any suggestions, comment and let me know! The workshop I am giving is at the end of March, start of April (date TBD, depending on hall availability).
