Prompt: Write a poem or story about March.


I thought about writing a poem about March and threw caution to the wind and tried to come up with a short one with short syllables in 3 lines each. I don't know if it is a poetry type but it was very much a challenge to get it just right.

Filler Month

It’s the filler

Between cold

And hot.



It’s the wettest

Of the year

Warm not.



It’s too chilly

For swimming

Silly.



It’s cookout time

Grilling steaks

Sublime.



Because at night

Coals are red

Just right.



March has a vibe

Inviting you

To thrive.
