Just what it says

The 30 DBC prompt for February 21, 2017 is "Tell us about a time you purchased something you really wanted and couldn't wait to have, but soon regretted."

There have been a lot of things in my life that I have wanted, couldn't wait to have, and sopn regretted buying. One such thing is the phone I have right now. I bought it basically to help raise my credit score. Then my ex-wife's phone was shut off so I bought her one on my account with the understanding that she had to pay her part of the bill. She has done so faithfully but our combined bill is nearly $200.00 per month. I could easily get a prepaid phone with all the trimmings for $40.00 per month and add an additional line to it for her for $20.00 more per month. I recently found out that the plan I have is not a locked in two-year contract as I originally thought. It's merely a special plan through a huge carrier, which gives me specials that others do not qualify for such as the three lines I have available. I can get out from under it easily by simply switching carriers. I think I will do that and get my ex-wife a phone through the new company as well. Then we'll all be happy.
