War Chest Wednesday: Writing Groups
Wednesday, March 22, 2017

The War Chest Wednesday prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS is from a previous challenger...
Are you in any writing groups outside of WDC (like in your school or your community)? Have you/would you share blog entries in that group? How would you go about doing it, given the logistics of trying to share something that is on the internet in a physical group setting?

I don't belong to any offline writers groups anymore. I did at one time before I begin taking care of Mom. Then when she passed it was difficult to drive at night so I didn't hook up with any of the old offline writers or poetry groups I belonged to. I miss not going to the meetings. In fact there are a lot of things I miss not doing. Some of the things I need to get back into, like figuring out a way to get to the Nineteen Day Feast and going to some of the hotel-casino coffee shops or specialty restaurants in the early or late evening. However, I think the firs priority is to get back going to the Feast.

Considering the difficulty I have getting across town to anything, I think the best way for me to participate in writing groups is through blog entries. I have one off site blog I am posting to on a regular or semi-regular daily/weekly basis. Sometimes I post a rant, which I may do today if I'm still depressed when I start to compose the entry. I don't write directly into that blog any more. Instead I compose the entry in Microsoft online on my One Drive account. After the entry is finished I copy and past to my Poet 999 blog. I have a few things I have to finish on writing.com before going composing the Poet 999 entry so it may not be a rant.
