When you can't take it back or let it go...
Okay, so my twelve year old boy wanted to walk his girlfriend to the pizza barn after school and eat supper with her. Bold. The wife agreed but didn't like it and set down a bunch of rules. She was so nervous she didn't get much sleep last night. I can understand. There is a part coming up that can really blow a persons mind. Wait for it!

Not yet, though. She drives to the school and picks up his band instrument and spies on him for a short while before leaving. She calls me and wants permission to go rescue him, who, of course, is far from needing rescue. She goes shopping and calls me three times in doing so. Give them time, I said. Well, it turns out the girlfriends family went to the pizza barn with them, including the little brother. The wife got to meet the mother of the girlfriend for the first time and when the girlfriends mother found out my wife's age (here it is) she said my wife looked good for her age! I will say no more of it. I can, however, tease my 'old' lady! Gently, of course.
