Seeing the sights from on high.
PROMPT January 14th

If you could have an all-expenses paid trip to see any famous sight-seeing destination (monument, building, national park, etc), where would you choose to go?

It would have to be somewhere high. I love heights. That being the case the sights are usually really difficult to get to. So any of the many hair raising glass platforms all around the world, or better still all of them would be my choice. Such as this one in France : Step into the Void, France:
A glass box, suspended more than 1km above ground, with views across dramatic mountain peaks and an altitude of 3842m: this is “the highest attraction in Europe”. To get to this hair-raising viewing platform, daredevil sightseers must first take a cable car ride to the Aiguille du Midi mountain peak — the closest you can get to the summit of Mont Blanc without a pair of crampons. Step into the Void opened in 2013 and is said to have been inspired by the Grand Canyon Skywalk, but modified to suit the extreme altitude.
