Read me to sleep.
PROMPT January 22nd

What books are on your reading list?

I don’t have a list of books to read. I don’t read an awful lot, mostly when I go to bed. I try to stay off screens after 9.15 so usually pick up a book when I’m in bed. Ten pages or so that’s all I manage before my eyes start closing. My old neighbour Margaret whose 88 years old, recommends books to me and often lends them. That’s easier than browsing through titles at the library.
My reading tastes changed over the years. I used to be an avid reader of horror and serial killer books. Now I can’t bear to put anything stressful into my brain especially before sleep.
Now I like books that make me smile or family relationships or even the odd modern romance with humour.
I don’t mind writing the odd horror story though.

I noticed last week at the library I’ve begun to select books by the size of the print😢
