Mesmerized

5 p.m. and 22 degrees headed south of zero by daybreak.

I count 6 heads of geraniums in bloom, one last flower on the kolanchoe blooming in the south-east window, new orange flowers starting in the other.

I'm taking a break.

But I did eat a mix of meat and rice and cheese today. I watched the Impeachment proceedings earlier (devastating). I may take a bath. It's been awhile.

I wrote to the 48 hour media prompt. "Stalactite [345]" 

I've switched books. Now reading Stormy Petrel by Mary Stewart (1916-2014).

I think the other book, Autumn Letters, was triggering me for some reason. I'm nearing the end of it so maybe after I get rid of this reading-blockage I'll be fine.
