Unfortunately, I tried to finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month. But I didn’t quite do that earlier today at work. I still have about three hundred and fifty words left to write aka the last section/part of this Short Story. I’m not sure how long it will take to finish it. But it shouldn’t be more than six hours.

The reason why I say that about six hours is because that’s about how long it took to write the first part/second earlier today for this Short Story. Hopefully, it won’t be quite as long tomorrow as it was today. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it was about that long or a little longer. I just hope I’m not surprised tomorrow.

I’m not sure why it took me so long to write the first section/part earlier today. I knew what I wanted to write. But I just couldn’t do it. And I don’t know why. Of course, I would like to know why it took me so long to finish writing this part/section. But it’s something that I may never know. I might figure it out. Then again, I might not.

Even if it does take me about six hours to finish writing this Short Story, I should get it done. And that’s the main thing. That I get it done. After I do, I will start working on the second Short Story that I’m trying to write for this month. it all depends on when I get finished with the first one as to how much writing I get done on the second one.

If I do get the first one done within six hours, I should be able to write at least a couple of sections/parts for the second one. But then again, I may not. After all, it’s the beginning of this Short Story. And I sometimes have trouble getting a story started. Hopefully, this won’t be one of those times for this one.

I know what I want to write. But I may have some trouble doing it. Especially, in the first few paragraphs of this second Short Story. I often have trouble with that because I want to hook my reader to read on. And that isn’t always possible. At least it isn’t without a lot of rewriting. Unfortunately, that takes time to do that.

It all depends on how long it takes me to finish my first Short Story and how long it takes me to do what editing that I need to do on the first half of it. I’ve already done some editing on the second half. A whole lot of it for my second part/section of this half. But I still have a little bit of it for the first half of it.

No matter how I look at it, I should get my first Short Story for this month finished tomorrow at work. And I should get started on my second one. I’m just not sure how much of the second one I will be able to get written tomorrow. It may be a little bit, or it could be a lot. I’m hoping that it’s a lot. If not a little bit more than that.
